Julia Tang– Author
Julia is a writer, educator, and former lecturer at Stanford University. A longtime teacher of meditation, she brings themes of stillness, connection, and inner joy to her work. Her debut children’s book, Christmas in the Himalayas, celebrates generosity, wonder, and the spirit of the season. Her writing also appears in Chicken Soup for the Soul. Julia lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, two daughters, and their golden retriever—the family’s resident expert in unconditional love.
Martin Hsu – Illustrator
Martin Hsu is an Asian American artist living and working in San Francisco. He developed a passion for drawing while growing up at his grandparents' house during his childhood in Taiwan.
Martin’s cultural heritage and family ties remain the most significant influences on his work. He hopes to inspire kindness and preserve traditions by telling meaningful stories through his art.
